FRUIT SCONES COOKED IN MY BABYQ

These are the second batch I made.  I didnt get the tops brown on the first lot.  I put out a cry for help and Captain Cook at Aussie BBQ Forum came to the rescue.  There are lots of great ideas there for BBQ and other Cooking.

Ingredients:
3 cups Self Raising Flour + l teaspoon baking powder (optional)
pinch of salt
1 cup dried fruit
250ml cartoon of cream
200ml approx. dry ginger ale

Method:
Place a piece of doubled alfoil on grill not totally covering it.  Preheat BabyQ on  the highest setting for ten minutes.  Grease tray. Mix dried fruit, flour, salt and baking powder, add cream and dry gingerale.  Turn out onto floured board and knead lightly.  Shape.  Cut and brush with milk.  Turn back heat 3 1/2 slots and bake for 30 minutes.  Should sound hollow if you knock on the bottom.
