CAMP OVEN - NO KNEAD - MAPLE OATMEAL BREAD

The 19th Braid is now up go to BIG BLACK DOGS to view how the others tackled this recipe.
This was a soft sweet bread, nice hot and ideal as toast. Adapted from the HBin5 Book.

It contains pure maple syrup, oats, wheatgerm, cinnamon and buttermilk. I couldnt resist putting a cup of raisins in as well.

As it was a windy day I moved the Volcano around the side of the house.

  3. You are so amazing! Dutch oven is extra effort no matter how you toss the coin, I'm just in awe. I loved this bread, but did make a few changes. You are wonderful :)

  8. Good idea to add raisins! I loved the heart shaped pan too. We thought this bread was just OK and it did taste good as toast with some fresh ground peanut butter or homemade strawberry jam.
