TRIP TO THE TOP OF SOUTH ISLAND NEW ZEALAND

Just spent 10 wonderful days in New Zealand.  We hired a campervan and travelled from Christchurch up to the Farewell Spit across the top and down the coast.  Lots of seals and fish being caught.  We met some wonderful people from NZ, Switzerland, Scotland USA and England.  This is such a pretty place to visit and there is no need for long days of travel to see something new and exciting each day.  Lots of activities we didnt do, we were just happy to enjoy the natural surroundings.  Sparky did most of the cooking as gas camp stoves have a habbit of exploding on me.

  1. Hey, that sounds great! I've been there as a child, but not as an adult! So one day when I've finished 'doing' OZ, I might just try again!

    Have a great day!!

  2. We have been at least 6 times, we do 10-14 days here and there and feel we have now been everywhere and a couple of places more than once. Very much set up for tourists in all kinds of vans and tents. We have also done Backpacker stop overs and that worked pretty well also.
